Diagnostic lab testing is available on campus at the Aggie Health & Wellness Center. The laboratory is licensed and approved by CLIA performing in-house and reference lab testing. For lab tests, a written order from a healthcare provider is required.
Off-campus healthcare providers can give you a written order for lab testing to be completed at the Center. Results will be sent to the provider who ordered them. Orders should include the date, diagnosis codes for lab testing, healthcare provider’s signature, and medical history pertinent to your illness or injury.
No appointment is necessary. Your healthcare provider should explain how to prepare for the testing. If you have further questions, please call the Laboratory at 575-646-6426 for more information.
The student health fee does not cover ancillary charges for services such as x-ray, pharmacy, and laboratory. These charges will be assessed when you check out from the facility. If you have questions about your diagnostic test or the charges, please consult with a AHAWC provider or nursing staff member.
