This fall, we're excited to introduce our new Aggie Patient Portal, which will officially open on August 5! The new portal makes it easier than ever to schedule appointments, complete forms, upload vaccination records, review visit information, and manage your health from anywhere. Visit nmsu.studenthealthportal.com beginning August 5th to access your account and take advantage of our new, improved online services.
Vaccination Update: As part of our transition to the new patient portal, all vaccination record submissions and immunization compliance activities will also move to the new system. Students who need to submit vaccination records or complete immunization requirements for the Fall semester should do so through the new portal beginning August 10. Click for more information
24/7 Virtual Care with TimelyCare
Your health and well-being don't stop when the Aggie Health & Wellness Center is closed. Through TimelyCare, NMSU students have access to free, 24/7 virtual medical and mental health services from anywhere. Whether you need care for a minor illness, support for your mental health, or simply have questions about your health, licensed providers are available whenever you need them. TimelyCare offers on-demand medical care, scheduled counseling, psychiatric services, health coaching, and self-care resources—making it easier than ever to get the support you need, on your schedule.
Updates to respiratory virus recommendations including flu & COVID-19
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released an update simplifying respiratory virus recommendations, including COVID-19. The Aggie Health and Wellness Center and the NM Dept. of Health will align with the CDC’s recommendations. If you test positive for COVID-19, you can go back to normal activities when, for at least 24 hours, your symptoms are getting better, and you haven’t had a fever. For more information click on the CDC link Respiratory Virus Guidance (cdc.gov)The Aggie Health & Wellness Center offers same day appointments for acute care needs and can test for common respiratory illnesses such as flu, strep and COVID-19.

The Aggie Health and Wellness Center on the Las Cruces campus offers an at-home COVID-19/Flu A/B test kit for purchase for $10 each. Test kits are available for purchase AHWC pharmacy and at most local pharmacies. Students can seek medical care for suspected COVID-19, flu and other illnesses at the Aggie Health and Wellness Center.
The seasonal 26/27 influenza vaccine will be available soon through Aggie Health and Wellness Center. It is recommended that most people start receiving their annual vaccination starting in September or October. Make an appointment by calling 575-646-1512. The cost for the vaccine is $25 per shot.
